Good to know when renting in Tasmania
Our most popular rental truck – the 4.5 tonner – can be driven on a standard car driving licence, as can vans and utes. To drive a bigger truck, you’ll need an MR (medium rigid) licence.
The minimum age for most trucks is 21; but, to drive a large vehicle, you may need to be 25. If you’re unsure, please check with our staff.
