8 SEPTEMBER 2022: SIXT Australia are pleased to be announcing the expansion of their luxury and electric vehicle fleet on the eve of World EV Day through a new partnership with BMW which will see 500 cars delivered in the coming months.
SIXT Australia is set to welcome the first of 50 BMW iX3 Electric Vehicles across Australia, bolstering a growing fleet of EVs with an electric SUV option for customers.
SIXT launched in 2021 with the largest fleet of electric vehicles in Australia and plans to convert half of its 16,000 nationwide rental fleet to electric in the coming years to help deliver on the nation’s net zero emissions target.
The BMW iX3 is BMW’s first all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle and features the latest in safety technology, BMW’s esteemed supreme comfort, and an impressive range of up to 461km.In addition to growing the largest electric vehicle fleet for hire, SIXT is proud to be partnering with BMW to expand their luxury vehicle offering.
The partnership will see an additional 400 premium vehicles for hire across Australia over the next 12 months including BMW 330i, 220i Gran Coupé, and X3 xDrive30i. Some key locations are Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
