When do the new protection products and pricing take effect?
The changes will take effect from 14th May 2025. From this date, all protection options added to existing and new bookings will follow the updated product suite and pricing structure.
Will our contracted rental rates change?
No, your contracted base rental rates will remain unchanged. However, you may see slight adjustments to the pricing of some protection products to reflect the updated coverage and structure.
What are the key changes to the product offerings?
The key changes to our product offerings include updates to existing peace of mind options and the introduction of new add-ons designed to offer greater flexibility and clarity. Ultimate Protection has been restructured and renamed to ‘$0 Excess’, which now excludes tyre and glass damage. To maintain full coverage, customers can choose to add the new Tyre & Glass Protection option, which covers damage to tyres, windscreens, and other glass components. Premium Protection has been renamed to ‘Reduced Excess’, maintaining a lower excess for standard damage coverage. Both ‘$0 Excess’ and ‘Reduced Excess’ rates have been reviewed and reduced to reflect their revised coverage. In addition, we have introduced two new optional products: Tyre & Glass Protection and Interior Protection. The latter provides cover for accidental damage or contamination to the vehicle’s interior cabin or loading space, offering extra peace of mind for a variety of travel needs.
Updated Product Mapping
Previous Options | New Options | Description |

Tyre and Glass Protection | Covers damage to tyres, windscreens, and other glass components. | |
Premium Protection | Reduced Excess | Offers a reduced excess for vehicle damage, excluding tyre and glass. |

Are the new products mandatory?
No, the new protection options such as Tyre & Glass Protection and Interior Protection are optional add-ons unless otherwise agreed in your corporate agreement. However, if your account has mandatory protection products already in place, they will continue as per your existing agreement.
If I have a mandatory protection product applied to every rental, will the changes to protection coverage affect my protection level?
No, your protection level will remain the same.
If your account currently includes mandatory Ultimate Protection (now renamed $0 Excess), please note that tyre and glass damage is no longer included under this product. To maintain the same level of coverage, Tyre & Glass Protection will automatically be added as a mandatory product to your account. This ensures no change to the total protection charge rate.
If your account includes mandatory Premium Protection (now renamed Reduced Excess), there will be no change to the coverage level or the total protection charge rate.

Existing bookings that already include Peace of Mind options will retain their original coverage and rates.
