From SFO Airport:
Head northwest on US-101 N (for 10 miles). Take exit toward Cesar Chavez St/Potrero Ave (0.2 miles). Use the left lane to merge onto Bayshore Blvd. Use the left lane to take the Cesar Chavez St ramp. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Cesar Chavez St. Turn right onto Hampshire St. Turn left onto 26th St. Turn right onto S Van Ness Ave (for 1.1 mile). The SIXT branch will be on your right.
From Golden Gate Bridge 101 S:
Head southeast on US-101 S. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 437 for Marina Blvd toward Presidio. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Girard Rd. Turn left into Lincoln Blvd. Turn left into Pacific Ave. Turn right on Lyon St. Turn left onto Bush St. Turn right onto Gough St (use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left to stay on Gough St). Turn left onto 13th St. Turn right onto S Van Ness Ave. The SIXT branch will be on your left.
From East Bay Interstate 80:
Head south on Us-101 S. Take exit 432 for C Chavez St. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for C Chavez St W. Keep left, follow signs for Cesar Chavez St W. Turn right onto S Van Ness Ave. The SIXT branch will be on your right.
From Palo Alto:
Head northwest on Middlefield Rd toward Embarcadero Rd. Turn right onto Embarcadero Rd. Use the right lane to take the ramp to SF. Keep left, follow the signs towards SF and merge onto US-101N (for 29 miles). Take the exit toward Cesar Chavez St ramp. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Cesar Chavez St. Turn right into Hampshire St. Turn left onto 26th St. Turn right onto S Van Ness Ave (for 1.1 miles). The SIXT branch will be on your right.
From The Castro:
Head east on 18th St toward Hartford St (for 1 mile). Turn left into S Van Ness Ave. The SIXT branch will be on your right.
Return information
Return Time: All vehicles must be returned by 6 PM Monday through Friday and by 3 PM Saturday and Sunday.
After-Hours Return Options: Return the car to SIXT San Francisco Airport for a $99 charge.
Fees: Return the car the following day during business hours please advise customer additional charges for late returns will apply and be added to the rental agreement.

This is my first time re ting from SixT and I love it! Was easy to procure the car online and everything was ready when I arrived to pick it up. Jose is a great guy and the car is fabulous and CLEAN. I hope they stay in business a long time.

I've tried to rent here four times. First time, they swapped cars on me, so I cancelled and went to Avis. I had a particular car in mind for a reason. Second time, I got the car and everything was perfect. Third time, the system didn't send me a confirmation email and the website left me in a "we're searching for your car" loop. Turned out the reservation had gone through, but I cancelled it and tried again. Fourth time, perfect. So, Sixt is batting .500. That being said, the service at the shop was excellent, the car was clean and the value was high. The ease of renting here is why I come back. Blake does a good job handling your rental.
