We recently rented a car through SixT, and our experience with their representative, Zelito, was excellent. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the process, making what could have been a stressful situation much more pleasant. Zelito deserves high praise for his customer service!
That said, we were less enthused about the additional fees the company charges. Extras like the toll pass, the high rate for refueling, and even a fee for a spouse to drive seemed excessive. These policies are frustrating and make SixT feel similar to the big-name rental companies we hoped they’d outperform in terms of value and customer care.
While our interactions with staff like Zelito were wonderful, we’d encourage SixT to reconsider some of these practices to better stand out in a competitive market. With adjustments, they could truly set themselves apart.
