They picked us up at the airport in less than 5 minutes of standing outside with our bags. The driver helped us with our bags and drove just the 2 of us, privately, in the transport SUV to the rental lot. The rental lot is about a 4-6 minute drive, depending on traffic and is located on a residential/commercial street. Upon entry, I was greeted by an employee named Wilton. He began to assist me with my rental pickup process. He was very detailed and explained everything thoroughly so I knew what I was getting. I really appreciated that. During the retrieval process I asked Wilton what his favorite pizza place in NYC was. He gave me a recommendation and it was spot on!! Which I will be eternally grateful for. The SUV I rented definitely needed brakes, but it was reliable and got us to our destinations safely. We needed to return the rental at 5:30am, which was before they opened, as our flight was at 7am. Upon arrival at the rental lot there was absolutely no parking. I couldn't even get on the sidewalk, like they recommended. So I put the hazard lights on and left it double parked in front of the rental lot. They opened in 30 minutes, so I was not too worried about anything happening to it. Thankfully it all worked out and I received a receipt for the final total of my rental before I landed at the airport back home. If I ever fly into LaGuardia again, I would definitely consider booking with Sixt again! The rate was reasonable, service was excellent, the vehicle was reliable. What more could one ask for?!
