Arrived in Terminal 5 LHR at 9pm but I had reserved a car with Sixt T2 for 10am. At the Sixt service destk I realised that my reservation was a "no show" theoretically at the wrong place at the wrong time 😱. Luckily, the goddess of travel was on my side and I was welcomed to Sixt LHR by Gustavo. He overlooked the NO show and even upgraded my reservation. I was ready to climb over the service desk and give him a smacker but thought "nah" a smile and a thank you should be enough 😂 In the mean time, my kids who I had deliberately positioned about 20m away from the service desk in a corner where I thought they would not cause any disturbance were beginning to descend into clamorous behaviour. If you're a parent , you know things about to descend into calamity when you hear "xxxxxx" give it back repeatedly. I remained calm well actually I was not calm just pretending whilst Gustavo finished up the reservation. I bid Gustavo good bye and hastily turned to deal with the kids who were about to descend into mayhem. The older bruther was running round in circles with his sister's rucksack, "give it back _______(name) was being called out desperately by the sister. I was just about to lose it when a second Sixt agent saved the day. He called out "_ _ _ _ (name of child) Stop , this is security. Brother stops in his tracks. Turns around and realises he's being pranked and we all burst out laughing. 🤣🤣. We left the Sixt office in smiles and the children said to me" The people at Sixt are always really welcoming". What more can I say, the Kids give Sixt a big thumbs up. Needless to say, if you plan to rent a car in London....It can only be Sixt,: Fast courteous service from staff who genuinely love dealing with customers & their kids.🙏🏼 We will be back!
