continue onto Estrada da Malvada. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for From Faro's city center, on Avenida José Maria Nunes take the 1st exit onto Av. Dr. Gordinho Moreira/IC4. Keep on going and take the exit toward N125/Olhão/N2/S. B. Alportel/N125-10/Aeroporto. Get on N125/N125-10 and N125-10/Aeroporto. Continue to follow N125-10 and take the 2nd exit at the following roundabout. You will find the Faro International Airport on your left.

I was quite hesitant about renting from this location given the overwhelmingly negative reviews. I made sure to be obvious about taking photos before and after the rental, take detailed notes about any damage, as well as speak in Portuguese while interacting with the staff. However, I was pleasantly surprised -- the staff both at pickup and drop-off were professional and the process was efficient. Actually, due to a train driver strike, I had to modify the return time of the rental, and the process over the phone was super smooth. Muito obrigada, pessoal!

What a great experience with Sixt at Faro Airport. I was served by Tiago, who is a really nice agent to deal with (please send my regards). Got this lovely Peugeot 308, which made my Algarve trip very pleasant. Car was prepared right in front of doors, they explained everything, all damage was properly marked on the damage report. This was second time renting with Sixt this year and always nice people there to deal with. Based on this experience, I would definitely rent here again. Obregado :)
