This beautiful city that is located in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, is known mostly for its chemical industry. Take a drive through its city center which is relatively small and full of post-war buildings and experience its old culture. Take a drive also on the northern and southern highways on stilts (Hochstraßen) and through the Ludwigsstraße shopping mile to the Pfalzbau theater which is regionally significant. Stuttgart also has some excellent museums and buildings and its surrounding area is diverse with forests, mountains, vineyards, parks, gardens and woodlands. You can also check out the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum which is mostly known for the Miró wall as well as several municipal parks such as the Ebertpark, the Stadtpark and the Friedenspark which is relatively close to the city centre. You can also take a drive to the River Rhein's Parkinsel peninsula, a 5km long island which has numerous woods, green shores and lovely camping areas. The city has excellent motorways and highway connections for you to enjoy driving on.
