This disarmingly stunning architectural masterpiece is one of Germany's most attractive towns. The quaint town is beautifully surrounded by canals and rivers and it is also characterized by medieval streets, pavement cafes, and pubs that serve the famed smoked beer. The town also has a number of museums & galleries that are worth a visit; such as the Historisches Museum, Fränkisches Brauereimuseum, Sammlung Ludwig Bamberger, and Diözesan Museum. To better experience Germany, take a drive through the town in the evening and experience the romantically lit streets. Some of the sights one should check out include the Bamberger Dom right above the cityscape; Castles, Palaces & Mansions such as the Neue Residenz and the Altes Rathaus which is a lovely piece of Gothic architecture that perches on a small island between two bridges. The Klein Venedig is also well worth visiting. This lovely neighbourhood features diminutive, half-timbered cottages right on the east bank of the Regnitz between the Markusbrücke and the Untere Brücke.
