For those arriving via plane, the journey into the city centre of Prague is simple and straightforward. It takes roughly 40 mins on Route 7 to drive from the Vaclav Havel Airport (12 miles). Taking the D0 is likely to shorten the journey however this road does have tolls. The central train station (1 mile) is a leisurely 10 min drive away while the bus station (2 miles) takes roughly 15 minutes. Entering the city via the airport is relatively easy because of the one major road leading into the centre, as well as, the new signage on the way.
