We picked up a car in Dubrovnik at a hotel and returned it in Split near the city center. The check in and return were easy and quick. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was concerned by previous reviews but we had no problems. I suspect previous customers did not like providing a large deposit, which is required if you do not elect insurance. Our deposit was pending on our credit card and the transaction was removed as soon as the car was returned. I would definitely rent a car with Sixt again.

Very quick, efficient and friendly check in. Would have rated higher but the signage was confusing...just a small sign at the entrance gate to a paid parking lot across the street from the hotel ...took some time to find someone to let them know we were returning the car.
